This Doubleday hand-built Starling guitar was made from a semi-hollow one piece lightweight swamp ash body with a Spalted Maple cap, double bound with celluloid Tortoise binding, and a celluloid tortoise pick-guard. It features a natural nitrocellulose finish. Complete with two hand wound Doubleday single coil pickups and a hand wound Doubleday Humbucker in the bridge position. The neck is a solid one pice Indian Rosewood with figured maple accents, polished off with a natural oil finish. Each pickup is hand wound and carefully wired with a vintage style cloth pushback wire. 9.5” fretboard radius with modern fretwire, C shape neck carve. 6 lbs 10 oz.
