Q: HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER FOR A CUSTOM DOUBLEDAY GUITAR?

Placing an order for your custom Doubleday guitar begins with a personal consultation. Simply reach out via email, and we’ll send you a custom order form to detail your specifications. After reviewing your submission, we’ll provide you with an estimate to formalize the order. A 50% non-refundable deposit is due to secure your position in the build queue and an invoice will be sent directly to you.
Q: HOW LONG WILL MY CUSTOM ORDER TAKE?

Because each Doubleday guitar is handmade to your exact specifications, delivery times can vary. On average, custom builds take 3–8 months depending on the complexity and current build schedule. We pride ourselves on meticulous craftsmanship, ensuring every detail is perfect before it leaves our workshop.
Q: WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept a variety of secure payment methods, including Venmo, Google Pay, Cash App, Zelle, and Direct Bank Transfers. Please note, we do not accept checks. Sales tax will be applied as required.
Q: HOW WILL MY ORDER BE SHIPPED?
A:
Your completed guitar will be shipped once the build is finished and you’ve confirmed your final payment. Shipping costs will be calculated and included in your final invoice. We offer a range of delivery options, including expedited shipping, to ensure your instrument arrives securely and in a timely manner.
Warranty
Each Doubleday Guitar comes with a 5 year limited warranty. Your new Doubleday Guitar is warranted to be free from any defects in materials or workmanship for up to 5 years from the original purchase date to the original retail purchaser. All Doubleday Guitar instruments are subject to the limitations contained in this limited warranty.
If at any time within five years of purchase this instrument malfunctions as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, Doubleday Guitars will repair the defect(s) or replace the instrument, as it deems appropriate in its sole discretion. Doubleday Guitars LLC reserves the right to use materials regularly utilized at the time of repair in the event that original materials are no longer available. This warranty covers the cost of both labor and materials on any repair deemed necessary by Doubleday Guitars.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXTENDED TO THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER ONLY AND MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED OR ASSIGNED TO SUBSEQUENT OWNERS. IN ORDER TO VALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY, AND AS A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO WARRANTY COVERAGE HEREUNDER, YOU MUST RETURN YOUR WARRANTY REGISTRATION CARD WITHIN FIFTEEN (15) DAYS FOLLOWING THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE. YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE OR SALES RECEIPT MUST ACCOMPANY ALL REQUESTS FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE.
THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER:
1. Any instrument that has been altered or modified in any way or upon which the identifying numbers/marks have been tampered with or altered.
2. Any instrument whose warranty card has been altered or upon which false information has been given.
3. Any instrument that has been damaged due to misuse, negligence, accident, or improper operation.
4. The subjective issue of tonal characteristics.
5. Shipping damages of any kind.
6. Any instrument that has been subjected to extremes of humidity or temperature.
7. Normal wear and tear (i.e., worn frets, worn machine heads, worn saddles, worn plating, nut wear, string replacement, scratched pickguards, or damages to or discoloration of the instrument finish for any reason).
8. Setups, adjustments or routine maintenance of any kind.
The above warranty policy only applies to customers in the United State of America.
How to Obtain Warranty Service:
To arrange warranty service you must first contact Doubleday Guitars through the company’s website (www.doubledayguitars.com) to request a Return Authorization. No instrument may be returned to Doubleday Guitars without such prior Return Authorization. When contacting Doubleday Guitars, you must include a complete written description of the malfunction of the instrument. Instruments shipped to Doubleday Guitars for warranty service must include proof of purchase to demonstrate that it is the original instrument owner requesting the service. The instrument owner must pay to insure and ship the instrument to Doubleday Guitars, and Doubleday Guitars will pay the insurance and shipping costs to return the unit to its owner within the United States.
Doubleday Guitars makes no other expressed or implied warranty of any kind beyond the terms stated above.
