SOLD - Aged Charcoal Burst Starling Custom - SOLD

$4,080.00

Serial #102 is a fully handmade Doubleday Starling built for power, clarity, and feel — weighing in at just 6 lb 2.3 oz. The paulownia body paired with a flame maple top delivers exceptional resonance and snap, finished in an aged Trans Charcoal Burst nitrocellulose lacquer that’s been tastefully checked in, giving it the look and feel of a well-loved instrument from day one. Faux masked maple binding and a gold leaf logo complete the look.

The quartersawn figured maple neck features a comfortable Soft V profile, charcoal stain, and maple skunk stripe. A 12” radius Madagascar rosewood board with Jescar 57110 stainless frets ensures smooth bends and long-term durability, accented by maple dots and sterling silver side dots.

Loaded with handwound Doubleday humbuckers (14.23k A5 bridge / 8.77k A5 neck), this HH Starling moves from articulate cleans to full, aggressive punch with ease. Aged nickel hardware, a Gotoh 510 two-post tremolo, True Tune tuners, bone nut, and clean rear-mounted controls round out a refined, performance-ready build.

Premium tonewoods. Aged character. Built without compromise.
