This meticulously hand-built Doubleday Starling guitar showcases an exquisite lightweight swamp ash body, designed for optimal resonance and playability. Complete with a classic SSS pickup configuration and an elegant parchment pickguard, this instrument stands out in any setting.
All hardware is finished in gold, including a Kluson vintage style tremolo and precision-engineered Kluson Supreme tuners for reliable tuning stability. The pickups are hand wound and carefully wired using a vintage style cloth pushback wire, ensuring authenticity and quality. The pickups’ output specs are impressive: Neck - 5.78k A5/2, Middle - 5.82k A5/2, Bridge - 6.55k A5/2, delivering a rich array of tones.
The neck is constructed from a single piece of quarter-sawn hard maple, adorned with elegant Ebony dot inlays, and polished to perfection with a tinted thin nitro gloss finish. With a 12” fretboard radius and vintage Stainless Steel fret wire, alongside a comfortable C shape neck carve, this guitar is a dream to play.
